ANOTHER METHODIST SELECTD AS CARICOM YOUTH AMBASSADOR

The Methodist community on St. Kitts joins in extending congratulations to Sis. Sonia Boddie of the St. Johnston congregation, who was recently selected by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, to be one of two CARICOM Youth Ambassadors for St. Kitts and Nevis. She follows Bro. Kevington Pemberton of the Immanuel congregation, who was one of last year’s CARICOM Youth Ambassadors.

Sis Boddie is an active member at St. Johnston, where she also assists with the reading of Notices and Scripture during worship services. She is a member of the Circuit Youth Encuentro Planning Committee and volunteer with the Methodist Radio Network – MRN. Previously, she served as Church School Teacher and member of the Girls’ Brigade at the Tabernacle congregation.

The CARICOM Youth Ambassador Programme is the Community’s mechanism for leadership development and youth participation. Youth Ambassadors serve as focal points for deepening the regional integration and development process through advocacy and peer education initiatives.
