LID District Theme: “Trusting God in Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”



MCCA WOMEN COMMISSION MEETING

There will be a meeting of the MCCA Women Commission St. Kitts Circuit on Monday, 5 June, 2023 at the Wesley Methodist Church, Seaton Street, Basseterre, starting at 5:00 p.m.


Each Women's Group (with a representation of two (2) members) and any interested women members of the congregation are invited.



MCCA WOMEN'S WEEK 2023

The MCCA Women's Commission (St. Kitts Circuit) will be celebrating Women's Week 2023 with a number of activities under the theme "Woman of God: Bear Fruits That Will Last". You are invited to participate in the following activities.

  1. On Saturday 17 June - a Health & Wellness Screening Outreach Day will be held for members of the public on the grounds of the Immanuel Methodist Church from 10 am to 4 pm. There will be free private breast exams and prostate screenings, along with HIV tests, blood sugar, and blood pressure checks.

  2. On Monday 19 June - we will gather for a night of Singspiration at the Ebenezer Methodist Church. Hymns of the faith, Negro Spirituals and Folk songs will be rendered by the various women groups.

  3. On Wednesday 21 June - Women's groups within the Circuit are encouraged to arrange Visits and Fellowship with their sick and shut in members.

  4. On Sunday 25 June - MCCA Women Lord's Day Services will be conducted by Women in all Methodist Churches. All MCCA Women are specially invited to participate by wearing white, a hat or fascinator, and your MCCA vest (if you have one). A walk-up collection will be taken for women's work.

  5. Also, on Sunday 25 June - The annual MCCAWomen Lord's Day Rally will be held at the Tabernacle Methodist Church starting at 4:00 p.m. All are asked to support and take part in this spiritually invigorating experience.

  6. On Friday 30 June - A Trivia and Games Night will be held at the Wesley Church Hall from 6:30 pm. Join us for a night full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition in Family Feud, dominos and well-known board games.

The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Bro. Earl Clarke will be held on Monday, 12 June 2023 at the Newtown Playing Field starting at 2:00 pm.



ST CHRISTOPHER OUTREACH CENTER

Kindly note that volunteerism is encouraged at the Outreach Center as each Communion is rotated weekly. The Methodist Communion is responsible for the week of 5 - 9 June 2023. Persons desiring to volunteer at the Outreach Center, Irish Town Bay Road, can give their names to the Circuit Office.

The Management of the Harmony Christian Bookstore is seeking volunteers. Interested persons are invited to call the Circuit Office for further details.The Harmony Christian Bookstore is open Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
