METHODIST HERITAGE MONTH

The month of May is being observed as Methodist Heritage Month

Special events in the month conclude with:



CIRCUIT PICNIC

The Circuit Whit Monday Picnic will be held on Monday, 29 May at Frigate Bay Lawn. A ‘round-the-island’ family whistle stop is planned for the first half of the day, starting off at 8:30 a.m. from Wesley chapel and ending at the Frigate Bay lawn. There will be stops at various places for prayer. Congregations and families can join along the route. We look forward to the participation of all families. Congregations are asked to organize their own transportation, food, and snacks.



CONNEXIONAL COUNCIL 2023

All are invited to share in the remaining Public Events during the Session of the Connexional Council 2023, Guyana, as follows:

Monday, 29 May, 8:00 am Morning Devotions

Sunday 28 May, 6:00 pm Council Service

ST CHRISTOPHER OUTREACH CENTER

Kindly note that volunteerism is encouraged at the Outreach Center as each Communion is rotated weekly. The Catholic Communion is responsible for the week of 29 May – 2 June 2023. Persons desiring to volunteer at the Outreach Center, Irish Town Bay Road, can give their names to the Circuit Office.

Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE

The Management of the Harmony Christian Bookstore is seeking volunteers. Interested persons are invited to call the Circuit Office for further details.Please note that the Harmony Christian Bookstore will be closed on Monday, 29May for the observance of Whit Monday but will be open Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
